This delightful 17th-century oil painting illustrates the biblical episode of the Flight into Egypt, rendered in a characteristically Dutch manner with careful attention to landscape and natural detail. Condition

Fine craquelure throughout. Some discolouration to the varnish, light scratches and a small loss of paint to the centre left. Light bloom and corrosion, particularly to the lower margin. Some warping to the copper panel. Overall, the artwork remains vibrant and in very good condition for its age. The frame is in fine condition.
