Artist Biography
Duncan Mackellar (1849-1908) was a painter, primarily of genre scenes, born in Inverary, Scotland. Mackellar worked in Glasgow and painted interiors with figures in 18th-century costume. He was a member of the Royal Scottish Watercolour Society.
