A very fine landscape by the artist Dennis Leach. Here he has depicted a Welsh landscape with a stone cottage and distant mountains. A figure can be seen walking his dog towards the house, with wildflowers in the foreground. Finely executed with expressive brushwork. Well presented in a gilt frame. Signed. On canvas on stretchers.
Condition
Overall the condition is very good. With some small surface marks, inspection under UV light reveals no sign of restoration. Small paint drip mark to the sky at the upper right. Minor marks to the frame at the corners.
