Chris was born in Surrey and spent his formative years in South London. He started his working life at 16 as an apprentice in a commercial art studio - sweeping floors and washing water pots, progressing to Lettering Artist, Graphic Artist and Studio Manager, eventually becoming Director of a Design Consultancy in Covent Garden for 25 years.
Having travelled widely, both at home and abroad, Chris has been influenced by the people and places he has seen and has produced paintings from his travel photography.
He has now made his home in Bridport, Dorset and is concentrating on views of the local area - in various media and in a diversity of styles.
Chris has also sold paintings through Dorset and North London galleries, as well as enjoying numerous private sales and commissions.
