This charming early 20th century oil painting depicts Saint Clare of Assisi. She is pictured in a traditional Franciscan habit, holding a lamp that symbolises divine light, guidance, and the illumination of faith amidst darkness. Unsigned. Well presented in a gilt frame. On canvas on stretchers.
Condition
Light abrasions. There is a faint impression from the stretchers. Overall the artwork is in very good condition for its age. Light wear to the frame, including scuffs and small chips.
