Description

An atmospheric view out to sea with the sails of a boat visible on the horizon. Presented in a wooden frame with a gilt-effect and white inner edge. Signed indistinctly to the lower-left edge. Inscribed on the verso, 'From Andrew, Summer 1963 after sailing holiday round Denmark. Bought in Denmark and sent to me after'. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

There is some mild surface dirt and craquelure. Overall in very good condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
