Artist Biography
Originally from Liverpool, William James Bolger studied at Liverpool College of Art, followed by a postgraduate scholarship at the Royal College of Art in the late 1960s. He exhibited widely with shows at Bluecoat Chambers, Liverpool, STISA Christmas Open Exhibition, the Neptune Theatre, Liverpool and mixed shows including the Royal Academy. In later life Bolger settled in St Ives, Cornwall which became a prominent subject in his work, and features heavily in this collection.
