Both are beautifully presented in gilt frames richly embellished with cartouche and scrolling foliate motifs. Unsigned. On canvas on stretchers.

The artwork has undergone restorative work, including relining and areas of overpainting. Signs of wear consistent with age, including some discolouration and craquelure. Scuffing, stable cracking, and small losses to the frame.
