Subjects include landscapes, still life scenes, and paintings after medieval and baroque originals. Valentine is an internationally renowned and award-winning miniature painter. She has featured in several books on miniature painting and regularly exhibits work in London and the USA.
She trained at Goldsmiths College, School of Art, London, and today is one of only a handful of miniature painting tutors in the country, holding classes in Mountfield, East Sussex. She is a member of the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors, and Gravers.
