This vibrant landscape painting by Dutch artist Albert Berend Jans Mulder (1889-1987) depicts a tranquil canal scene with a wooden rowing boat moored along grassy banks. The composition guides the viewer's eye along the waterway through verdant fields toward grazing cattle and rural dwellings on the horizon. The work is signed by the artist in the lower left and dated 1931. On canvas on stretchers.
