This charming engraving depicts Pierre-Antoine Baudouin's Le Couche de la Mariee. Depicting a bride being dramatically aided to bed by her maids. Engraved by Jean-Michel Moreau and the finished by J. B. Simonet. Engraved for the Count of Hautefort Marquis of the county Villacerf, a gift from Lord Emmanuel of Hautefort. Presented in a large gilt frame with floral and foliate details. Print details and a coat of arms in printed to the lower edge.
