These two charming scenes are engraved by J. H. Write after the original works by Thomas Wheatley. the first scene shows a heartfelt exchange between mother and daughter as she leaves her childhood home with her new husband. The second depicts the couple returning twelve months later with a baby a baby in their arms to show her mother her new grandchild. Both signed, titled and dated to the lower borders. On paper.
