Description

A charming oil study depicting people of a european town passing under castle gates. Through the archway stands the grand facade of castle with guards at the entrance. Signed and dated faintly to the lower border of the painting. Presented in pierced gesso frame. On board.

Condition

There is some craquelure to the surface and some discolouration to the varnish. The canvas has been relined.
