Description

A pair of aquatints depicting Russian city scenes. One is titled 'The Kremlin, Moscow' and dated 1815. The other is titled 'Smolensko' and dated 1814. Published by R. Bowyer, Pall Mall. Both are glazed and presented in black lacquer frames with gilt-effect inner detailing. Unsigned. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for pictures of this age including some foxing and discolouration. Both have chips to the frame, most significantly to the upper-right edge of the 'Kremlin' work.
