Description

A charming watercolour painting by the artist A.D. Hammersley, depicting a view in Dimminsdale, a 37 hectare geological and biological Site of Special Scientific Interest partly in Derbyshire and partly in Leicestershire. Title, signature and date to the lower left-hand corner. Well-presented in a golden card mount and in its original, very fine, ornate gilt frame. On watercolour paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Minor marks to the mount. Some stable cracking and very small scuffs to the frame.
