This intimate 18th-century portrait depicts a young woman absorbed in a game of cards. Beautifully presented in an ornate gilt frame. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

Overall the artwork is in good condition for its age. Wear to the frame, including scuffs, chips and indentations. The frame has undergone previous restoration, including repairs to the corner ornaments.
