Artist Biography
William Tatton Winter was born in the north of England in Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire where he studied art formally here and on the continent before eventually settling in Reigate. He received royal recognition from both Queen Victoria and Queen Mary and exhibited widely Europe-wide including the RA, RBA, NWS New Gallery.
