William Sidney Morrish (1844-1917) - Signed Original Late 19th Century Watercolour. With body colour. Signed lower left. Location inscribed on the reverse 'Upper Waltonbrook, Dartmoor'. In a gilt mount and a decorative gilt frame. Signed. Picture is in fine condition. Very minor loss to moulding on frame lower left.William Sidney Morrish was a British visual artist who was born in 1844. Many works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'A Cornish moorland scene; and A stream running across a Cornish landscape' sold at Christie's South Kensington 'British Art on Paper Inc Coll. & Studio of Simon Bond' in 2003. The artist died in 1917.
