A delightful watercolour scene of Dartmoor heather over Scorhill Down, by British landscape artist William Snell Morrish (1844-1917). Presented in a new card mount and plain gilt frame with rope twist running pattern. Fixed to the reverse of the frame is an inscribed Elands' Art Gallery exhibition label. Signed with monogram to the lower right. On paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Signs of wear to the gilt frame include a small loss to the lower left corner and light scratches to all four members.
