William Norman Grant (1918-2001) - Signed Original Contemporary Gouache. A fine gouache depicting children riding donkeys on a beach. Signed. On board. In fine condition.

William Norman Gaunt (1918-2001) Born in Leeds, he studies under Walter Bayes at Lancaster College of Art. His early work showed the influence of Ivor Hitchins. Gaunt later went on to specialise in equestrian subjects displaying an impressionistic style. He gained a National Diploma 1949 and was made a fellow of the International Institute of Arts and Letters 1959. He exhibited at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, London
