A fine mid 19th Century oil landscape showing a bridge across a glassy river. cattle graze in a distant meadow and a man stands on the bridge, leaning on the wooden railings and staring contemplatively at his reflection in the water below. The artist has signed and dated to the lower right. The painting has been presented in a simple gilt frame with car mount. On wove.
