William J. Phillips ARCA - Original 19th Century Watercolour. Street scene below Corfe Castle, Dorset, signed to the lower right and inscribed with title and artist to the reverse. Presented in a washline mount and simple wooden frame. Phillips exhibited at the Royal Academy 1898-89 (inscribed verso). Signed. On wove. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing, dirt to the mount. The frame has some very minor wear but is generally in good condition.
