An original watercolour scene by the well-listed British artist Henry Earp Senior (1831-1914). Cattle watering in a pond with ducks amongst the herd. Well presented in an ornate gilt-effect frame with swept rails. Signed 'H. Earp Senior' to the lower right. On paper.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age, including some discolouration. Signs of wear to the gilt effect frame include stable cracking and various losses to the swept rail.

Artist Biography
Born in 1831, Henry Earp was a Brighton-based artist working predominantly in watercolour and oils. He exhibited widely at the Royal Institute for Painters in Watercolour, Royal Society of British Artists, Walker Gallery Liverpool and Manchester City Art Gallery.
