Description
A coloured oval stipple engraving depicting a scene at a dairy in the style of eighteenth-century pastoral paintings by artists such as Francis Wheatley RA (1747-1801). Coloured in plate. Presented glazed in a beige mount and distressed gilt-effect wooden frame. Signed in graphite to the lower-right edge. Date and publisher G. J. Howell & Co printed indistinctly in plate to the upper edge. On wove.Condition
There is some minor discolouration and some cockling to the wove. Overall in good condition.
