The composition is set against a patterned background in warm ochre and brown tones, with a single fallen rose resting on the surface below. Presented in a silver-coloured frame. Signed lower right. Condition
Fine craquelure observed throughout. A light, even patina of age is present across the surface of the artwork. Inspection under UV light reveals no apparent restoration. The frame has minor surface wear and scuffs. The artwork is in very good condition for its age.
