Artist Biography
Vladimir Trofimovich Skriabin (1927-1989) was a Soviet Russian painter. He trained at the Academy of Arts in Leningrad in the studio of Boris Loganson and exhibited in the USSR and abroad. Examples of his work are held by numerous Russian museums - including the State Tretyakov Gallery, Ministry of Culture of Russia, Russian Museum, Museum of the Academy of Arts, Museum of the History of Leningrad, Gallery of Russian Art, Petrozavodsk Art Museum - as well as several museums abroad, such as the National Gallery in Dresden and the Art Gallery "Guekesso" in Tokyo.
