A view of two monks, one tasting some food from a pan with a delighted expression. In the manner of Edvard von Grutzner (1846-1925). Presented in an oak frame with a gilt-effect inner edge. Signed to the lower-right edge. On canvas on stretchers.Condition
There is extensive discolouration. Inspection under UV light reveals areas of restoration. There is splitting to the upper left corner of the internal slip.
