Vincenzo Laricchia was born in Naples, Italy, and was greatly inspired by its beautiful coastline. He belongs to the school of Neapolitan painting that has been prevalent in Italy and around the world since the 18th century. Laricchia found poetic inspiration in the Naples landscape, often focusing on faithfully representing its dramatic shorelines and beautiful coastal towns.
