A highly impressionistic Paris street scene in oil by the artist V. Bergen, depicting figures on a rainy day. With a distinct Parisian atmosphere, the artist has created both movement and texture through the use of palette work. Well-presented in a substantial dark swept frame with centre and corner ornamentation, and a gilt slip, as shown. Signed. On board.
Condition
In fine condition overall. Some light scuffing to the frame.
