A fine 19th Century oil landscape showing a dramatic river crashing over rocks, flowing its way down towards the lowlands. The artist has signed to the lower left corner and the painting has been presented in a 19th Century gilt frame. On canvas.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is some craquelure to the surface. There is some abrasion to the paint in the lower left corner. The frame has some losses, overpainting, scuffing and tarnishing. There is some splitting at the interior corners of the frame.
