A characterful etching by Thomas Rowlandson (1756-1827) after Thomas H. Hull (fl.1775-1827). The scene depicts a jaunting car, a form of public transport in nineteenth-century Ireland. Signed within the plate. Well presented in a wooden frame with a brown mount. On paper.

Condition

Signs of wear consistent with age including discolouration and foxing to the paper. Light wear to the frame.
