A fine watercolour study of a woodland dell, painted by British artist Thomas Ireland (fl.1880-1927). Here Ireland has captured an atmospheric scene of winter birch weeping over a quiet stream. The painting is signed to the lower right-hand corner. Well presented in a 20th century veneer wood frame. On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There are several light scratches visible on either side of the wood frame.
