A fine late 18th Century engraving with hand colouring, showing George III as king. Whole length equestrian figure with tricorne, tied wig, plain tie, and coat with Garter star. The King, centre, looks on as George IV as Prince of Wales supports the figure of General Goldsworthy at the City Road, London. With English inscription below, including publisher's address, 'Publish'd by J. Wheble Warwick Square May 1st. 1794.'
The engraving is presented in a contemporary Hogarth styli frame with wash-line mount.
On wove.The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Very light crease across the lower edge.
