An impressive stormy seascape scene with body colour by listed British artist T. Mortimer. The dynamic brushstrokes and muted tones heighten the atmosphere of the composition. Laid to backing card. Inscribed 'Gorleston near Yarmouth' on the reverse. Signed and dated. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is also mount burn to the edges and scattered foxing across the page.
