Description

A wonderfully detailed and exact pen and ink study of a vast continental lake, with a small town nestled in the trees on the shore. The architecture of the buildings suggest this might be in the Italian Alps or somewhere similar. The artist has signed to the lower right corner and the painting has been presented in a black and gilt frame with card mount. On paper.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. In overall fine condition.
