Artist Biography
Henri Verge-Sarrat was a self-taught painter and engraver born in Belgium in 1880. He was a keen traveller, painting subjects in Marrakech, Egypt and Tunisia, Portugal and many other countries.
He exhibited paintings at the Salon of the Society of Independent Painters-Engravers. He mainly exhibited French landscapes and scenes from North Africa.
