Simon Goldberg began his formal artistic training at 13, under Elysée Cavaillon, a former member of the Bande à Schnegg. There he studied drawing and sculpture before apprenticing with Louis Rueff in 1927 to master the craft of wood carving. In 1931, Goldberg continued his education at the École des Arts Appliqués, where he honed his skills in modelling under Robert Wlérick and drawing under Charles Malfray.

This charming collection of work includes the artist's printmaking explorations, with monochromatic etchings and floral still life work, showcasing his mastery of texture and form.
