A charming scene depicting a forest's edge with towering trees. The artist captures the scene using heavy, gestural brushstrokes, making for a highly textural composition. Signed to the lower left. Presented in an ornate gilt frame with acanthus c-scrolling and a cotton slip. Gemalde Berlin gallery receipt attached to the reverse. On canvas.
