Sidney Yates Johnson (fl. 1890-1926) - Original Early 20th Century Watercolour. A superb monogrammed watercolour by the prolific landscape artist Sidney Yates Johnson, showing a beach at low tide, with cliffs and a rowing boat coming in, a vibrant sunset on the horizon beyond. It is monogrammed to the lower left, and presented in a cream double mount and simple gold painted frame. Signed with monogram. On wove. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and a few tiny surface dirt spots to the sky, but generally appearance is very good. Frame has some wear and small losses.
