Of French Revolution interest - group of ten late 18th century French School watercolours of state officials, subjects include 'Membre de Conseil des Anciens', 'Membre du Conseil des Cinq Cents', 'Agent du Directoire Executif dans les Colonies Francaises' and various others each 23cm x 17cm, bound, after engravings of the Directory period circa 1795-1799 by Jacques Grasset de Saint-Sauveur. On watermarked laid. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing to pages. There is some creasing to corners of the pages. The cover pages are tattered.
