Wood engraver and printmaker, born in London. Studied under Gertrude Hermes at the Central School of Arts & Crafts, 1951-54, and at the Slade, 1954-55. She later became a tutor herself, on the staff of the RA Schools for ten years from 1976. She is a member of the Art Workers' Guild and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and has shown all over the world. The venues include the RA and RWA of which she is an elected member. She has illustrated several books for the Folio Society and the Gregynog Press. Examples of her work are in the collections of the V&A, Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, and the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge.
