Samuel Cousins (1801-1887) - Original 19th Century Engraving. An embossed engraving hand-painted in watercolour and varnished. Printed on wove paper and laid down on card that has been shaped at the lower edge (see images). By Samuel Cousins after John Everett Millais. Signed in plate. On wove. Wear and losses to edges of the image where previously stuck-down mount has been removed. Some light abrasions and trimmed inside plate line.
