A particularly fine English school portrait of Miss Siddon, delicately painted by an S. A. Wilde. The 19th century watercolour has been well presented in a fine black frame with a new card mount.
The watercolour has been inscribed with the sitter's name and signed 'S.A. Wilde' on lower edge, folded to the back of the frame. On paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age, including some discolouration to the paper. There are several light scratches visible on all four sides of the black frame.
