A delightful early 20th Century graphite drawing with gouache highlights by the artist Ruth Cobb, depicting Bayeux cathedral in Normandy, France. The artist has applied varying tones and considered strokes to perfectly portray this French street scene. Signed in the lower right hand corner with an inscription and date in the lower left hand corner, as shown. Well presented in a card mount with graphite detailing and a gilt effect frame. Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and minor foxing. There is some surface dirt beneath the glazing. The frame is in fine condition.
