A charming genre scene in oil showing two children netting in a river. Beautifully presented in a gilt-effect frame with cushioned velvet slip. Signed in Cyrillic to the lower right. Signed and inscribed in Cyrillic verso. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

The painting's top varnish layer has deteriorated and yellowed causing some discoloration to the surface. Otherwise in fine condition.
