A light, even patina of age is present across the surface of the artwork. There is a small, localised loss to the paint layer near centre, below the boat. Inspection under UV light reveals no apparent restoration. The frame has minor surface wear including a small loss to the upper right corner ornament and a chip in the top rail. The artwork is in very good condition for its age.
