Robert Gallon (1845-1925) was a landscape and coastal painter. He exhibited thirty-two works from 1868 to 1903 at the Royal Academy, and twenty-seven pictures from 1873 to 1903 at the British Institution. Scenes were predominantly landscapes in England, Wales, and Scotland. Gallon painted in a style similar to Benjamin Williams Leader (1831-1923) and George Vicat Cole (1833-1893).
