Robert Forrester - Original Mid 20th Century Pen and Ink Drawing. A marker pen drawing on thick board. From a large collection of drawings and paintings by Robert Forrester. Unsigned. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration.Born in Carlisle, Robert Forrester (1913–1988) was untrained in the arts. He worked in the design department of Hudson and Scott, Metal Box Co., illustrating biscuit boxes and designing Christmas Cards. Forrester also exhibited artworks outwith his work with Hudson and Scott. His works are held in public collections including the Tuille House Museum in Carlisle.Size
