Original Early 19th Century Tea Caddy. A well-figured Regency rosewood tea caddy. Original lock and hinges. Some of the veneer on the left side of the lid has lifted and a short section of beading is missing. With an interesting early Georgian hand chased escutcheon. No key. The excess beading from our lz045 could be used to replace the missing beading on this box, so it would bea good idea to combine the two boxes if you are interested in restoration.
