Original Early 19th Century Tea Caddy. A well figured Regency rosewood tea caddy of fine colour. With metal and mother of pearl inlay. Missing an escutcheon, beaded trim, one hinge, and one handle. Needs to be re-polished. Original lock but no key. Needs quite a bit of tlc, but will be high value when done because the intrinsic quality is there. The remaining beading can be removed and the box will be fine without it, so the repairs are actually quite straightforward. 14 cm high, 20 cm wide, 13 cm deep
